Postage and packing (from 2nd April 2013)-

All orders are normally sent within two working days of receipt. Most smaller value maps & prints are sent via normal post (air-mail if abroad), for larger value orders some sort of tracked post is best.

Orders under GBP 35 - Recorded Delivery within the UK - GBP 3.00. Other EU countries by air-mail - GBP 4.00.
Non EU countries by air mail, 4.40 GBP.

Orders over GBP 35 - nominal 2 GBP charge. (Express delivery option at additional cost.)

(Courier - for very rapid delivery outside the UK, but more expensive. )

All my antique maps and prints are loose, most items are sent in in a tube, having been rolled carefully. I use three widths, depending on the size and paper weight of the prints / maps.
I can use a flat packet for mailing on request, although this is often not possible for large items.

Delivery within the UK is normally next day, outside the UK times mostly vary between 3 and 12 days, depending on location and efficiency of the postal services, over which I have no control. The express option is usually a day or two quicker for non-UK orders, those sent by FedEx are usually very fast - 1 day to the USA and 1-3 days elsewhere.

All my antique maps and prints are insured. In the very rare event of non-delivery or damage the problem should be reported to your local Post Office and to myself. For a damage in transit claim to be made all the packaging must be retained.
