On this page is advertised an item that has been on my lists several months or more, now being offered at a reduced price. Don't forget there would still be a discount when ordered with one or more other item.

Hungary " The Mape of Hungari, newly augmented by John Speede, Ano Dom 1626 " published by George Humble in Speed's A Prospect of the Most famous parts of the World, 1627 or later. Typical Speed country map, with costume insets down each side and prospects of several cities along the top. Detail showing the Pesthe area. English text on the verso. Recent hand colour. A good example with a few faults - lower 4 cms and upper 1 cm of centrefold split, three minor edge tears, two just into image area (all without loss), narrow margins which have been slightly augmented in an almost unnoticeable way sometime in the past, old sticky tape residue along top margin, well clear of neatline, very slight soiling and age browning. Size 51.5 x 39.5 cms. Ref D1508. SOLD

For further information or to place an order see Ordering information.
All prices are in UK pounds. Sizes are width by height in centimetres for the actual image area, not including any titles (1 inch = 2.54 centimetres.)
